HOW I USED QUANTUM ENERGY COACHING FOR A MORE ABUNDANT LIFE

GETTING STARTED WITH A HEALING JOURNEY

I have gathered  some personal thoughts together in this blog about Quantum Energy Coaching (QEC) and the therapeutic process and how I have used it successfully for myself to bring about abundance and wellbeing. Its a personal story as well as information on the healing process that is specific to QEC. We use specific techniques that need to be detailed as they are very powerful and deserve some elaboration as they put the modality apart from most other approaches to holistic coaching. I have Included some general details about the way I approach healing trauma and addiction and other blocks to an abundant life by using QEC. I have also explored the clients experience in the trauma healing process. So the invitation is to pick your way through this posting  and see what resonates. The techniques outlined are simple and support  the clients need to be held in a safe and loving space. This is what I offer to the person sitting opposite me. That is why I have woven some ideas and personal beliefs into this blog since I too would like to work with people who want the same abundant life that I have.

QUANTUM ENERGY COACHING HEALED MY TRAUMAS

I decided to attend a practitioner training in 2015 to be a QEC facilitator.  During the training I  explored with Dr.Salmon the founder of QEC many aspects of my childhood, schools, parents and formative relationships. This was what I now call the trauma releasing work since there were traumas in all these areas. I began to understand that in spite of the care and well intentioned  parenting I received it wiped out the joyful, spontaneous innocent child in me to fears, shock and insecurities. This discovery work I did helped me to have an depth and understanding for my clients that is based on my own experience of healing. QEC I found worked quickly and easily to produce positive changes for me and an inner peace that allowed me to be less reactive due to old patterns of behaviour. I was creating my own powerful new identity by placing healing statements directly into my subconscious. Healing statements are the core work of QEC. They define our new selves and our desires for change. An example of a statement is  “I trust my healing journey 100% on all levels”.

SOME CLIENTS LITERALLY TRANSFORM IN FRONT OF YOU

I observed that clients who are aware of their own subtle energies between their mind body relationship seem to be able to feel the truth and power of the statements they create to rebuild their lives. They know and feel that the statement has gone in to the subconscious and replaced an old belief right while they take it in. Its amazing to witness the almost instant change. Please understand that this does not mean that people who have worked less on themselves don’t respond to QEC.  The good thing is that the client really just needs to be able to relax and trust the facilitator to help them create the optimal conditions for receptivity to change. This permits the sub-conscious to do the work. We all know intuitively when a statement we create about ourselves feels right and has the energy needed for change.

HOW QUANTUM ENERGY COACHING DIFFERS FROM THERAPY

One of the main differences between QEC and conventional therapy is that  the client defines their issues in the session according to what they feel is true for them at that moment. Of course I offer the client a space to reflect on what they believe is true using methods taken from Gestalt therapy. All QEC practitioners are trained in these skills. In QEC we work with the subconscious which will take any positive statement and place it into the currently held belief system in the brain. Beliefs are held in neural networks  and these networks can be updated with new beliefs according to certain rules. So we look to raise the clients energy so they can be able to transform themselves through their subconscious. This bypasses thinking, the mind and all it’s defences. Clients are empowered to use their creative energy to imagine their life free of their problem and picture the solution from a space of gratitude. This is a powerful approach and I know from my own experience that clients  define their healing using their own words exactly how they want them to be. This definition is then turned into a positive, present tense sentence which is then installed into the subconscious through a simple proven technique.

LEARN A SIMPLE TECHNIQUE TO CHANGE SELF LIMITING BELIEFS QUICKLY & EASILY

It is based upon the research of Dr.Salmon and other researchers from the Heart Math institute, “Bruce Lipton and the biology of belief ”, David R Hawkins and his map of consciousness along with many other scientists in the field of neural science and epigenetics.

Some interesting reading is found in Chris Waltons book  “The Gamma Mind Set” which was published in 2010 and been the base of  many other modalities working with the subconscious. QEC was influenced by this work. Dr.Salmon took some of the concepts and combined them with  Gestalt therapy and her G.P knowledge . This formed the basis of the approach and techniques are used trauma healing. QEC is a very strong technique for working with trauma and any severe emotional issue. Practitioners are given weeks of lectures, training, case studies as well as  supervision on using QEC with clients who have trauma. Because of the way QEC works we do not need to be psychologist as QEC is a simple tool for most people to learn and apply quickly. That was always Dr.Salmons intention. A simple tool that is quick and easy for both clients and practitioners to use to bring about change and rebalance the nervous system. I like to think of QEC as a tool for the people used by the people.

HOW TO WORK  WITH THE NERVOUS SYSTEM TO BRING BALANCE

Dr.Salmon wanted to find a way that could quickly heal and bring relief to most issues that came to her for treatment. She found that QEC could work with the nervous system and bring it into optimal balance. Most of the issues we face impact our nervous system and there are very few ways to base line the nervous system once it has been running in the red for many years. Stress is a classic example of running in the red!

A simple QEC statement can put our autonomic nervous system into optimal balance. This is amazing as we can then start to heal the issues that keep us in a state of arousal (stressed out and anxious to use common language). We can start our deeper growth work on traumas once the nervous system is calmer. This is key focus of QEC. Simply put, we run on electricity and if we over load our circuits we break down. Put another way, a car running at 100 km in 3rd gear is going to have its engines revs up in the red zone on the rev counter. Changing down a gear for overtaking increases the engines revolutions per min which is ok for quick manoeuvres to get us out of trouble or overtaking. We  then change up gears again and go back into a lower less stressful number of revs for the engine. We are then in motoring at an optimal state for the engine. We take the foot off the gas ! Its the same for the nervous system. We need to settle down but when we spend too long in the red our nervous system has enough and the body starts to bread down in many different ways (mental, emotional, physical and spiritually). Part of the QEC process is to get our nervous system back into the safe zone.  This is the initial work so that clients can maintain this state . I have found that I have been able to do so myself and have a far greater capacity to not get upset in small or big ways today now I have healed. I cant think my nervous system back into optimal balance but it can be returned to a healthy state and stay that way using QEC. This is because we work with the supercomputer of the brain, our subconscious.

For many of us we do not realise how our metabolism  or our mind is. I was shocked that so much of my life I had been feeling tension, daydreaming and holding on to stress. I can see now that I  felt comfortable when my body was not relaxed. I looked for things to worry about as relaxation and trust were alien to me. Driven by a hundred different distractions that never gave calmness or peace. This awareness came to me first when I did Trauma Releasing Exercises (T.R.E)  where we are supposed to hold a our backs against the wall and stay in a sitting position. I felt at ease when my body was tense! This told me something important, that I had no idea of how much I was holding on and living in a state of tension in the body and emotionally. When we have known nothing else we have no idea of how it is to feel open to life, nature and our natural state of being. We are getting a little off the main theme here but it is good to understand where we are on the “bell curve” which David Berceli uses to explain the nervous system states as defined also in the Polyvagal theory. Most of us know about “fight and flight” responses. This can be shown on the bell curve for our autonomic nervous system. Many of us are frozen or not able to really feel with is going on at a physical, mental and emotional level if we had traumas. This is the result of learned behaviour. We have to function and survive so we remain in the mind, in our thoughts, resentments dreams or whatever distracts us. Stress is I believe fear based along with wanting to  control and QEC helps to bring us out of this state where we can move into a more open space and able to feel into whats painful for us and begin to grow. This is where the healing starts. Deep down I know I covered up what is painful and QEC enabled me to look at each barrier and begin to find new ways of living. Outgrowing the old through rapid brain rewiring. I started moving the body and used dance or conscious movement and body work to love myself back to where I could start to heal the wounds I had grown up with. The bell curve simply illustrates the journey.

WHAT DO WE FEEL LIKE AFTER A  QEC TRAUMA HEALING SESSION

Returning to what changes I found in my life. Well I noticed when I installed new beliefs using QEC,  was that my beliefs and attitudes became changed and what was a negative belief before became simply a recognition of what did not exist any longer. Their was no reaction to situations or just a distance and acknowledgement that what power was there before had now gone. I would say that in some cases the transformation can be dramatic. Suddenly we feel at a deep level there is change and it manifests itself  different ways. In my case I was too young to process my mothers absence. The felt sense of what was happening is also a felt sense beyond words for an adult healing their infants past. We cant put our fingers on the exact feeling that has resulted from the change that has taken place in our mind. Thats my experience. The first time I did work on childhood abandonment it left me feeling without energy for a day. What happened is that my nervous system rather than been in permanent state of tension was at last relaxed and this was an unfamiliar feeling. Dr.Salmon suggested some statements around “acceptance” and to trust the healing to work.

HOW TO FIND HELP IN GAINING PERSPECTIVE AND AWARENESS OF OURSELVES

Some other noticeable effects have been more capacity to cope or even the total removal of the problem as though it never existed . QEC was pioneering work back then and not much was known about it. Today there are hundreds of case studies for all kinds of issues from been an unwanted child to minor addictions. Transformations are taking place sometimes quickly sometimes slowly. The good thing is that no harm can come from QEC. The effectiveness of a session is brought about by the facilitator and the field that they create. During my training and when I was helping new facilitators it was common that deep childhood issues were healed by other facilitators. So the method and principles are important and I find it a simple method that is very powerful and easy to use. It works or nothing appears to work then people begin to notice a change. I use the word appears since people don’t always know what is really bothering them. Its normal really as we seldom have a perfect perspective on ourselves and in relation to others which is why we go and see a therapists or do family constellations. So what I think may be my problem may actually be the symptom of some other deeper problem. The peeling the onion concept is most apt I find as I have gone deeper and deeper with QEC.

MANY ISSUES ARE SIMPLY TENSIONS BETWEEN ACCEPTANCE AND DESIRE

This is why I find QEC to be so beautiful as it incorporates an inquiry that I mentioned earlier to establish the issue that is upper most for the client.  This inquiry process taken from Gestalt therapy and is used as part of each session. We  begin to feel what what is emerging from the listening and reflection process between the client and practitioner. The client may start a session presenting an issue and we soon become aware that the root cause is something else.

In the end I would say that most of my issues are tensions caused by not saying “Yes” to myself in some way. So the cause of an issues around money for example is not out there somewhere but deep down inside me. Maybe saying “Yes” to my feelings of laziness or apathy or immaturity is what I need to do. When I say “Yes” to my negativity, all the tension goes and I can relax and begin to take in more of what I need to in order to shift my attitudes. I learn to allow all feelings can have space. The learning is to be able to heal to create that inner space. This is to me more spiritual psychology which  I find is the heart of holistic healing and the road to abundance. It is the subject for a separate deeper discussion. Fixing my issues by looking outside to something else is moving away from the present and creating more desire. This creates tension, longing, identification and we mover further and further away from acceptance and peace. We cant avoid desire and I cant find a better word than “meditative” to express the way to bring about transcendence or a psychic change. To look at myself and acknowledge my arrogance or lack of humility to see the simple truth about myself  is not as easy as fixing this pain by looking outside (addictions, relationships etc)  myself and acknowledging my inability to cope. I can begin to change when I reach that point and QEC has helped me to integrate my new values and beliefs and release old ideas, especially around shame and not feeling good enough. Unworthiness is very common for people who have had abandonment traumas. In my coaching I am aware of how sensitive people are to opening up to new ideas. I found it hard myself to cope with the shame of imperfection! Feeling there is something wrong with me is a powerful negative that drives all kinds of maladaptive behaviours.

AWARENESS THERAPY AND MEDITATION

So for me some issues began to change gradually as I became more aware and then I included meditation or reflective inquiry. The twists and turns of the deeper issues began to reveal them selves  as I began to look at my patterns of behaviour.

I installed statements to be open and unafraid of change.  For me this is totally OK as I wish for inner peace, love and creativity in my life . So in a way it is a life long work to change my thinking and allow for more love to expand. For some people they feel happy so stop having sessions once the major issue or effects of trauma has dissipated and we end the work. Not everyone wants to go on a life long path to awakening and keep paying for it! Like many things QEC has been a stepping stone and a firm foothold in my personal growth. I keep coming back with new awareness to use it on myself whenever there are things I feel I need to shift. It is quick and effective and I create the person I want to be and drop the parts of me that are no longer of service.

QEC has been a changing factor in this journey for me as it was the tool that I started the journey to healing shame and childhood traumas which I could not recognise I had. Who understands trauma? There are so many courses and so much information on trauma today that is educating and helping to heal by explaining that there are many causes other than the dramatic life threatening violent events which we tend to define trauma by.

A DEEPER LOOK AT  INTERGENERATIONAL TRAUMA AND FAMILY CONSTELLATIONS

For everyone the experience is different and trust and confidence in QEC and the practitioner are very important. What was most important for me was that I was ignorant about what were significant details in my growing up and that I could also look at my life again with new information to guide me. When I started to do this I shifted from been in denial to some extent to been given a sense of perspective. I could then say “this was not OK or normal”. If I had not had the desire to look deeper into my childhood and examine what abandonment was for me in the QEC training then I would not have had the healing I have had so rapidly. Since that time I have also been exploring  through Family Constellations  a deeper sense of love and acceptance for my parents. Exploring bonding, loyalty and guilt. I realised that to be saying “NO” to them is really saying no to myself. We are made from both mother and father so that cant be excluded. Therefore what has been really important for me is to go through a process of looking into aspects of my past and seeing how it impacted me and to come to terms with it. Life is lived in the now and for some to look at the past seems pointless. I think the past is also a reference for learning and gaining a sense of perspective. It isa also a story and stories get elaborated and change with time according to what we want to hear. So QEC has changed my life in that I am aware of what effected me and have taken easy steps to heal and release the negativity I had towards myself and others as a result of that past and it is very easy to do and simple to apply. The key was to be willing to take a look and go deeper. What is good about QEC is that we do not need to be engaged in years of therapy to heal many of the issues that commonly cause us pain. QEC was part of the journey not the complete story but it is the focus of this article.

If you got this far in the text then thank you for staying with me. More recently I have been working on an exciting use of QEC for Intergenerational trauma. Using all of the above approach we can now examine our family trees and identify the traumas their impact on our lives today. These traumas get encrypted into a DNA tag and passed onto the next generation. That is an oversimplification however the work I have done is to look at my family tree, my family history and seen how certain survival characteristics have been passed to me. Using QEC I have worked on having these cleared away. I am certified to work with individuals over a series of sessions to do this new deeper trauma work and look forward to hearing form you if this is something you would like to work on.
