My Story

My Story

The Place of Meeting

There is a moment when someone decides to begin - or deepen - a journey. Often it doesn’t arrive with clarity, but with a quiet sense that something wants to be met.

This is the place where we meet.

The work I offer is less about techniques and more about the quality of encounter. I’m interested in what becomes possible when two people come into a shared field of attention - one that is steady, compassionate, and unhurried. In that space, stories can be told, patterns can be recognised, and experiences that once felt overwhelming can begin to find space.

What allows change to happen is not that one person has answers and the other does not, but that there is a common human ground where experience can be met safely. Many of the most healing moments - in my own journey and in my work with others - have arisen when a sense of being okay in the present becomes possible. When nothing needs to be fixed, explained, or pushed away. When the nervous system settles enough to recognise safety, even briefly.

From there, something different can begin.

How the Work Unfolds

When people stay, it is often because they sense that their experience asks for more than what is immediately visible. Many of the difficulties we carry - anxiety, repeated patterns in relationships, feelings of being blocked or disconnected - have roots that reach beyond the present moment.

Across cultures, mythology has offered a way of making sense of change, struggle, and transformation. In these stories, the hero or heroine is drawn into a journey they did not choose, meets obstacles they cannot overcome alone, and receives help from forces beyond their ordinary sense of self. What allows transformation is not strength or certainty, but relationship, guidance, and a willingness to be changed.

These stories were never meant to distance us from ourselves. They reflect something deeply human: that within us exists a capacity for healing, even when we cannot yet feel it or trust it. Mythology reminds us that help often arrives indirectly - through relationship, through the body, through moments of recognition.

In practical terms, this is how the work takes shape. Change does not happen because one person has answers and the other does not, but because a shared human ground is created where experience can be met safely. Again and again - in my own journey and in my work with others - healing has emerged when a part within is no longer required to carry everything alone.

There are times when a person cannot yet imagine change, or even hope for it. In those moments, what matters is not encouragement, but the presence of someone who remains oriented toward possibility without imposing it. As the nervous system begins to recognise safety, even briefly, something shifts - not as certainty or resolution, but as a quiet sense that life has not finished unfolding.

The work unfolds as a process rather than a solution. Over time, this allows for a growing capacity to remain present, to meet experience with less fear, and to trust what can emerge when space is held with care.

How I Came to Work This Way

Over time, I came to recognise that meaningful change does not happen through effort alone. Sitting with people, and with my own life, I began to see the scale and depth of what we carry - long histories, unfinished movements, patterns that span years rather than moments. Faced with this, the urge to fix or improve gradually fell away. What remained was something simpler and more honest: being present, loving, and grounded.

This understanding deepened through Family and Systemic Constellations. I learned that trying to work things out with the mind often narrows what can be seen. When attention opens to a wider field, something different becomes possible. What has been hidden or excluded can be met without judgement, and what has been carried in isolation can begin to find its place.

Alongside this, spiritual inquiry continued to shape my orientation. I became more attuned to the ways pain expresses itself through behaviour, and to the possibility of meeting that pain without condemnation. This did not offer answers, but it changed how I stayed present - with more patience and a greater capacity to hold complexity.

For many years I worked deeply with anger through a twelve-step path, using practices of self-reflection, sponsorship, prayer, and meditation. The work was sincere and transformative. And yet, over time, it became clear that insight and emotional understanding were not always enough. There were experiences held in the body - shaped before words - that required a different kind of listening. Through somatic and trauma-informed work, I learned how allowing the body to complete what had been interrupted could bring a deeper settling.
Across these experiences, one understanding has stayed with me. Change cannot be forced. There are moments when effort has done all it can, and what is needed is openness - a willingness to let something larger participate in the process. Much of what matters most in this work is not taught, but transmitted: through presence, relationship, and timing.

My Focus Today

The work I offer today is held within a relational and systemic framework. Rather than following a fixed method, I work with what is present listening for where attention, care, and support are most needed. Over time, this has shaped a way of working that is integrative, embodied, and responsive to the wider contexts people come from.

In practice, this means starting with where you are and allowing the work to unfold at a pace that feels safe and respectful.
Family & Systemic Constellations

At the heart of my work is a systemic understanding of human experience. Family and Systemic Constellations offer a way of meeting difficulties that recognises how much of what we carry belongs not only to us, but to the systems we are part of – families, relationships, histories, and unseen loyalties.

For example, this might involve exploring patterns in relationships or family history that seem to repeat, even when you’ve tried to change them.

Embodied & Experiential Work

Alongside systemic work, I place strong emphasis on the body as a source of information and regulation. Many experiences are held beneath words, and change often happens through sensation, movement, and felt awareness rather than insight alone.

Put simply, this can be as basic as noticing what’s happening in the body – shifts in breath, tension, or ease – as we talk.

Integrative One-to-One Inquiry

In individual sessions, I work in an integrative way, drawing on a range of reflective and coaching-based approaches as appropriate. Earlier influences and tools remain part of my background, but they serve the process rather than define it.

At other times, the work looks like conversation and reflection; at others, it’s more about quiet listening and presence.

An Invitation

If something here has resonated, you’re welcome to reach out. You don’t need to know what you’re looking for, or even what you want to say - a simple text message is enough.

We can begin with a conversation, without commitment or expectation, and see whether this feels like the right place for you. Sometimes clarity comes not from deciding, but from being met.

You’re invited to take your time. When you’re ready, I’m here.
